Miriam has an extensive scope of audiologic care for all ages, including the diagnosis of auditory and vestibular problems and tinnitus (ringing in the ears). She is very skillful in a wide variety of diagnostic and rehabilitative areas.
At our office she provides diagnostic audiologic evaluations, including tympanometry testing. In addition, she also provides counseling and training in the use of hearing aids. We currently offer a wide selection of brands such as Widex, Unitron, Phonak, and Siemens. Miriam can also activate Baha (bone anchored hearing aid) devices. These hearing devices are used for patients with severe mixed hearing loss or unilateral hearing loss.
Miriam is especially excited in the better hearing she can provide through our hearing aid service program. She states, “I am excited about the improvements in hearing aid technology in which I can offer better quality of life to our patients.”
She also can perform electronystagmogram (ENG) which helps diagnose problems with dizziness or vertigo. In addition Miriam can provide auditory brain stem response (ABR) in our office. If requested by Dr. Jung, Miriam joins him in the operating room to perform an ABR on our pediatric patients as well.
If you, or if you know someone that has a hearing problem, please call and make an appointment with Miriam at our office.
