About Us
Dr. Timothy Jung received his Doctor of Medicine from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his residency training and Ph.D. degree in otolaryngology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Jung, a board certified otolaryngologist has won several awards such as the Edmund Prince Fowler Award for the best candidate’s thesis in basic research from the Triological society.
Besides general otolaryngology, Dr. Jung has special interests in complicated ear surgeries for cholesteatoma, Meniere’s disease, acoustic neuroma, and other ear diseases. He was the first otolaryngologist to perform cochlear implant surgery in the Inland Empire and continues to do cochlear implant surgery for patients with profound hearing loss.
In our office we have three well equipped exam rooms as well as a procedure room. Our procedure room is equipped with the state-of-art diagnostic tools such as Zeiss microscope, fiberoptic laryngoscopy with Stryker camera and video recorder. We also have the latest equipments to test hearing and balance problems including sound-proof audio-booth, GSI audiometer, tympanometer, electronystagmogram (ENG), auditory brainstem response (ABR) audiometry, and otoacoustic emission test (DPOAE). These equipments help us to diagnose and treat our patients better.
On Dr. Jung’s off time he enjoys gardening and spending time with his wife and running. He has completed multiple marathons, including the Boston and the L.A. Marathons. They have three grown-up children, all in the medical field, two physicians and one dentist. He is also very active in his community and church.
